The old mining town of St Just has 4 pubs, a butchers, a bakery, a fruit and veg shop, a chemist, a hairdressers, a deli, a cafe, the local Co-op store and a variety of gift shops all around the pretty square. A children’s park, library and Dr’s surgery are also in the town.beach-1

There is the Cape Cornwall Golf Club with a swimming pool/jucuzzi and relaxing bar and restaurant with views out to the stunning Cape Cornwall.

Geevor Tin Mine in Pendeen, 3 miles from St Just has the Pendeen Heritage Mining Centre which is an interesting and enjoyable day out where you can get to go underground.

beach-23 miles from St Just is the stunning Sennen Cove and Whitesands Bay. A great surf beach. Sennen Cove is the home of the RNLI lifeboat and the famous “Round House Gallery”. There is a good pub called The Old Success and a restaurant on the beach called the “Beach Restaurant”.

Lands End is about 6 miles from St Just which has lots of exhibitions and is famous for the Dr Who exhibition. You can have your photograph taken at the famous sign. There is also a small farm at Lands End which is great for the children.

There are lots of coastal walks and paths around the area.
